Frequently Asked Questions
- Where are you located? We are in Seneca, IL, at 300 East Union Street at the corner of Union and Davis Streets. The parking lot is on the south side of the building, and you can enter from the south door.
- When is worship? Sunday morning worship is at 10:30.
- What should I wear? We are casual! Blue jeans and shorts are acceptable.
- May I take communion? We practice open communion. Anyone who confesses Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior is welcome at the Lord's Table. Both wine and grape juice are offered.
- Is the building accessible? The entrance doors are not automatic, but the building is otherwise accessible.
- What about my kids? Children are always welcome in worship. Except during the summer, Sunday School is held during the service. Children receive first communion in third grade; at their parents' discretion, children are welcome to come forward to commune or receive a blessing from the pastor. An unsupervised nursery is available.
- What are office hours? The pastor's office hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10 AM to 12:30 PM and by appointment. Our secretary is in the office Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday afternoons. During the week the doors are locked for security reasons. Come to the south entrance and call the office number posted on the door.
